Hi, my name is Chrissy and I'm inviting all you K9s and your owners to come and have a holiday with us at Christmas Cove. It's a pretty cool place to stay although you do need to observe a few simple rules. If you are a little "short in stature" (like me) you get to stay inside the cabins providing, of course, you promise not to jump on the furniture or sleep on the beds (humans have so many rules don't they?). If, however, you are "big and bold" your cabin has a verandah just for you so you are warm and cozy in winter and have a cool place to rest in summer. If your family wants to visit a National Park or enjoy a meal at a restaurant, the friendly owners will keep you company whilst they are gone (as long as you are not too sad to be left). At the park there is a great walk along the lake where you can make lots of new friends. Of course you have to be on your lead at all times but it is still freedom and better than being stuck in one place all day. The Local Council is pretty cool as well. It has a beach policy just for us dogs. There are four beaches in the Camden Haven where you can explore the sand dunes and paddle in the shallows as long as we are on a leash. But the best place to go is Wash House Beach at Dunbogan after 4pm. We can all run to our hearts' content, play a game of fetch with our owners, and even catch that elusive wave. I love to take my owner for a walk along the river - to check out what the fishermen have caught, follow a scent, watch the boats and keep an eye on those crafty pelicans. So don't miss out. When those owners of yours have some holiday time, tell them there is only one place to go - Christmas Cove Caravan Park! Now for those few DOs and DON'Ts from the Owners of the ParkThe owners have asked that you do not leave your site without a human and that you be on a lead at all times within the park boundaries They ask that you do not shout at people going past unless you have a very good reason You are not allowed in the amenities blocks because a human called a Health Inspector doesn't like it. Lastly, if your owners leave you at home while they go out and have a good time you are not allowed to make a fuss as humans can often find it very annoying. I don't think any of these DOs and DON'Ts are too difficult. They are a small price to pay for you to have an enjoyable holiday with your family.
